Bucks eclipse the Suns on the road

The Milwaukee Bucks continued their winning ways with an impressive 116-104 victory over the Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center.  Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 36 points and nearly had a triple-double with 11 boards and eight assists to lead the Bucks, who finished their brief west coast trip 2-1 .  Brook Lopez added 21 more points and pulled down 10 rebounds as well.  Jae Crowder and Bobby Portis contributed 11 points each off the bench as the Bucks won their 21st game in the past 23 games.

 

Devin Booker paced the Suns with 30 points and Deandre Ayton added 16 points and eight rebounds in the loss.

 

Milwaukee (50-19) now has a three game lead over the Boston Celtics in the NBA Eastern Conference with 13 games remaining in the regular season. 

 

The Bucks return home to face the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night at Fiserv Forum with tipoff set for 7 p.m.
