Pioneers' Rikkola stellar play gets rewarded with All-State nomination

Sevastopol’s Bailey Rikkola has been named to WBCA’s Division 5 All-State Team, adding yet another honor for the guard's spectacular senior season.

Bailey averaged 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 4.4 steals per game throughout the 27 games played by the Pioneers resulting in a 25-2 season ultimately coming to an end against Wabeno-Laona. According to wissports.net, Rikkola has led Sevastopol to a 43-10 record in her junior and senior year seasons.

She will add this accomplishment to her Packerland Conference Player of the Year award she received early last year. Rikkola joins 10 other girls in the entire Division Five to make the team, being one of the five seniors to make the list.

Sevastopol will move onto the softball season, where they look to take a trip once again to the Sectional Finals, and potentially further.
