Track teams open indoor season

Even if it is a little hard to see the track outside, local teams will head indoors for their first competitive action of the season on Thursday.

 

At Ripon College, the boys' teams from Luxemburg-Casco and Sturgeon Bay are scheduled to compete against the likes of  Bay Port, Beaver Dam, Berlin, Hartford Union, Howards Grove, Marshall, Menasha, Neenah, New Holstein, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield MS/HS, Oshkosh North, Pardeeville, Rio Community, Waterloo, Waupun, Wautoma, and Winneconne. The first events are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

 

In Marinette, Sevastopol's boys' team is scheduled to compete against Bay Port, Beaver Dam. Berlin, Hartford Union, Marshall, Menasha, Neenah, New Holstein, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Oshkosh North, Pardeeville, Rio Community, Waterloo, Waupun, Wautoma, and Winneconne. The first events begin at 4 p.m.

 

Kewaunee is scheduled to travel to Wausau West to face the host school, Antigo, Cadott, Crandon, Gresham, Tigerton, and Wausau East with the first events beginning at 4 p.m. Both the boys and the girls' teams will compete at this meet. 

 

Hosted by the Lourdes Academy at UW-Oshkosh, Algoma and Southern Door will see Lake Country Lutheran, Suring, Catholic Memorial, Horicon, Seymour, Brillion, Campbellsport, Chilton, Clintonville, Dodgeland, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Gillett, Hustisford, Kiel, Laconia, Little Chute, Manawa, Lomira, Omro, Pacelli, Peshtigo, Randolph, Rosholt, St. Mary Catholic, Sheboygan Falls, Shiocton, Two Rivers, Winnebago Lutheran Academy, New London, Iola-Scandinavia, and Denmark. The meet begins at 4:45 p.m.
