Gamblers play home-and-home against Chicago

The Green Bay Gamblers and the Chicago Steel will take turns playing host this weekend as the two teams play a pair this weekend.

The Gamblers broke a month-long losing streak last weekend when they beat Team USA 7-3 at the Resch Center before they had the favor returned to them in a 7-4 loss the following night. The freefall has dropped the Gamblers to fourth place with 58 points, 12 points behind the Steel in the standings. The Steel meanwhile have won their last two games and four of their five games this month. A big reason for their success is their high firepower across its entire roster with six players in the top 10 for scoring. That includes Mack Celebrini with 74 points (41 goals, 33 assist). By comparison, the Gamblers are led in the scoring department by Eli Sebastian (17 G, 31A) with 48 points, which is the 21st most in the league.

The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. on both nights with the Gamblers traveling to Geneva, Ill. on Friday and back to Green Bay on Saturday. The Gamblers will also host Youngstown for a 3:05 p.m. matinee on Sunday.
