The Green Bay Gamblers lost their second straight game by shootout Sunday afternoon 2-1 to the Youngstown Phantoms.
At the very least, the Gamblers showed excitement during the weekend as they scored a second last-second goal of the weekend when Raimonds Vitolins found the back of the net with a second to spare to tie the game at 1-1. After a scoreless overtime, the two teams needed six shootout participants to settle the game with the Phantoms' Jake Rozzi ending the game to pick up the extra point.
A Friday night matchup against Dubuque is all that separates the Gamblers from a forgettable Match for the team winning just two of its 11 games in the month, including three shootout losses.
