The Girls Soccer season may give local athletes a glimmer of hope for their seasons, as two local teams will participate in the Notre Dame Quad this weekend.
The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans start off the season locally playing at 5:00 P.M. against the host school of Notre Dame Academy. The Spartans will look to improve on their 7-10 record from last season.
In the second match of the night, Sturgeon Bay will take the turf against Lakeland Union at 7:00 P.M. The Clippers were 7-7-2 last season, and will need to replace the production from their two lost EWC/Packerland All-Conference selections due to graduation.
The Quad will continue into Saturday.
