The Green Bay Gamblers and the Dubuque Fighting Saints will share hosting duties this weekend beginning in Iowa Friday night.
The Gamblers have posted a forgettable March up to this point, winning just two of its 11 games in the month, including three shootout losses. That includes Sunday's second straight shootout loss to the Youngstown Phantoms. At the very least, the Gamblers showed excitement during the weekend as they scored a second last-second goal of the weekend when Raimonds Vitolins found the back of the net with a second to spare to tie the game at 1-1. After a scoreless overtime, the two teams needed six shootout participants to settle the game with the Phantoms' Jake Rozzi ending the game to pick up the extra point.
The Fighting Saints can overtake the Gamblers in the USHL standings with a pair of wins this weekend.
After playing in Dubuque on Friday at 7:05 p.m., the Gamblers will be the hosts on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
