Clipper girls soccer cant find net against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah

After grabbing their first win of the season on Thursday, the Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls soccer team could not keep up with Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on Friday, falling 3-0.

The Resorters of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah got a huge boost from Ariana Jelenc, who scored 2 goals on the night and assisted on another. The Resorters got one goal in the first and two in the second half, while simultaneously shutting out the Clippers throughout the entire match. Teagan O’Neil also scored on the night for the Resorters while assisting on one of the goals from Jelenc.

Sturgeon Bay will have a chance to bounce back next on Tuesday when they play Clintonville.

On Saturday, Sevastopol/Gibraltar will face off against Sheboygan Lutheran.
