Pending the incoming potential for rain showers on Thursday, the local golf slate includes two different meets between the two area conferences. 

In the Packerland Conference, Little River Country Club will host the second meet of the season for most of the competing teams. The teams that will appear in Peshtigo are Gibraltar, NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy, Oconto, Sevastopol, Peshtigo, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay. Finley Lavine (43), Isaak Aune (44), Tre Weinke (45), and Finn Salm (46) were the top local individual scorers in the first meet at Cherry Hills. 

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans boys golf team will also enjoy a day out on the course as they compete in a North Eastern Conference meet. The teams competing at Mid Vallee Golf Course on Thursday include Clintonville, Luxemburg-Casco, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute, Marinette, Oconto Falls, Waupaca, and Wrightstown. 

The meet in Peshtigo is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and the meet for L-C is set for 12:00 p.m.
