After a successful road trip, the Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Boston Red Sox at American Family Field 5-3 Friday night. Freddy Peralta (2-2) took the loss for the Brewers going 5.2 innings and allowing four earned runs. The Brewers rallied after falling behind 2-0 early to take a 3-2 lead in the fourth inning, only to see the Red Sox respond by scoring two in the sixth inning and adding another run in the seventh to take the victory. Rowdy Telez hit a home run and William Contreras had two hits to led the Brewer offense. Both teams will square off this evening at 6:10 p.m. in the second game of the three-game series. Wade Miley will get the start for the Brewers facing Garrett Whitlock for the Red Sox.
