Borkovetz, Nellis lead Eagles at Gary Reybrock Invitational

Working with a condensed version of the track team, Southern Door was still able to post solid numbers at the Gary Reybrock Invitational at Little Chute on Saturday. 

 

Kaden Borkovetz put together a strong showing from the boys side of things, finishing 6th in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.22a. In the long jump, Borkovetz finished 9th with a jump of 17-10.00. The 4x100m relay team put together a strong showing as well, finishing 7th with a time of 47.56a. 

 

Frankie Nellis was a bright spot for the Southern Door girls, who finished 8th out of the eleven competing girls' teams. Nellis would finish 8th in the 200m dash, with a time of 28.58a. In the long jump, Nellis would be joined by teammate Kailey Guilette in the top five. Nellis jumped 15-04.00, whereas Guilette jumped 14-03.50, to finish in 5th.
