On Monday, Luxemburg-Casco Spartan girls softball hosts Denmark in an NEC rivalry game at the L-C Sports Complex. Both teams are tied for first with Freedom at 6-1 in the North Eastern Conference.
The Spartans are led by pitcher Savanah Jandrin who has started the season off with some dominating performances.
Denmark (6-1) is coming off a doubleheader sweep, 9-2 and 7-4, over Wrightstown on Friday while the Spartans (6-1) won a twin bill against Oconto Falls, 7-1 and 15-4, on Friday at home.
Monday's pregame on 104.1 WRLU begins at 4:15 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The game will also be streamed on New Radio Sports Network with Paul Schmitt and Reece Robillard on the call.
Other games around the area include Sevastopol hosting Mishicot and Southern Door welcoming in Reedsville.
