Two undefeated teams in Packerland Conference play will face off in Brussels on Tuesday afternoon for a doubleheader as Southern Door and Gibraltar will take the field. 

Southern Door will have two tests during the week, with Gibraltar and Peshtigo on the slate, but the Vikings will be the most challenging Packerland opponent yet. The Eagles will be coming off a 3-2 loss to St. Mary’s Catholic on Saturday, their first loss of the season as they enter the game at 5-1 overall, and 4-0 in Packerland Conference play. Southern Door’s lineup is star studded from top to bottom, but so is their opponent in the Vikings. 

Gibraltar is coming off of a weekend sweep of a doubleheader with Algoma, winning in 10-0 and 4-2 fashion. The Vikings are undefeated so far in the regular season, and are 6-0 in the Packerland, sitting solely in first place. The Vikings have kept their games low scoring and have used strong pitching to lead them to their wins, whereas Southern Door has outscored their conference opponents 33-2. 

Gary Barta and Reece Robillard will be on the call from Brussels on U-102.1 and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 3:45 for the pregame show, with first pitch set for 4:00 between the Eagles and Vikings.
