The Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) has released their 2023 rosters for the Senior All-Star Game being played this summer. 

Four total players from around the area were nominated between two different division groups, with Division 2/3 and Division 4/5 being represented from our area. The players who were nominated to play in the Senior All-Star Game are: 

Division 2/3 Red Team: 

Kylie Hanson - Luxemburg-Casco 

Division 2/3 Blue Team: 

Chloe Lustila - Southern Door 

Division 4/5 Green Team: 

Amelia Robinson - Algoma 

Bailey Rikkola - Sevastopol 

All of the girls selected for the game have led their teams to strong starts to their season, as Luxemburg-Casco is 11-1 and second in the NEC, Southern Door is 7-4 and fifth in the Packerland, Algoma is 6-4 and sixth in the Packerland, and lastly Sevastopol is 11-4 and second in the Packerland. 

The WFSCA All-Star Game is slated for Tuesday, June 13th, at Woodside Sports Complex in Wisconsin Dells. 

There are plenty of games to play before then, even on a chilly Tuesday. Games on the schedule weather permitting include Sturgeon Bay traveling to Southern Door, Gibraltar hosting Peshtigo, Sevastopol welcoming Oconto, and Luxemburg-Casco heading to Marinette. Gibraltar will begin its games at 4:00 p.m., all other games are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. first pitches. All of the Packerland Conference matchups are doubleheaders.
