A day after Gibraltar was handed two losses by Oconto, they found that winning stroke in Manitowoc on Saturday as they beat Roncalli 8-2.

Brady Kita had one of his best games offensively for the Vikings as he had four hits, collected an RBI, and stole two bases en route to scoring three runs. Will Friedenfels rebounded from a tough day in Oconto to register a pair of hits and three RBI thanks to a double. Marshall Maltby and Rylan Caldecott each had a pair of hits while Aaron Brey and Bennett Isaacson helped the cause with run-scoring hits.

The combination of Noah Greene, Jack Duffy, and Kita took care of the rest as they combined to give up the two runs on five hits while striking out six on the day.

The Vikings will get a little rest before they open tournament play on May 30th.
