Julio Tehran pitched great for the Milwaukee Brewers, but the Cincinnati Reds matched him and then some in a 2-0 win on Monday.
Solo homers by the Reds' Stuart Fairchild and Tyler Stephenson in the third and fourth innings were all Tehran would give up in his 6 1/3 innings of work, lowering his ERA to 1.56 despite going 1-2 in those three starts. Joey Wiemer led the way for the Brewers, registering two of the team's three hits.
The Brewers completed the rare Friday-Monday series winning three of four and will now spend the next six games at American Family Field, beginning Tuesday night at 6:40 p.m. against the Baltimore Orioles.
