Glory takes loss indoors vs. Minnesota

Canadian wildfires stopped the match from being held outdoors but could not stop the Green Bay Glory from falling to Minnesota Aurora 5-0 Wednesday night.

Poor air quality forced Minnesota Aurora to move the match from its outdoor, fan-supported TCO Stadium to a sterile St. Croix Valley Recreation Center, but the sadness was short-lived as they scored 75 seconds after the opening whistle and three goals before the 30-minute mark. Minnesota Aurora would score again in the 47th before drilling a penalty kick into the back of the net in the 75th minute. Hannah Adler, Cat Rapp, Kylie Olsen, and Sophie French all scored for Minnesota Aurora with Rapp leading the way with two goals.

The Glory return to action on Friday at Chicago City before hosting the Chicago Dutch Lions on Father's Day at Capital Credit Union Park.
