Two local teams picked up big conference win to cap off their first week playing their Packerland foes.

The Sevastopol Pioneers started and finished strong against the Southern Door Eagles on Friday night winning 50-22 for their first conference win of the season on U-102.1. 

On 105.1 The GOAT, the Gibraltar Vikings broke a pair of long losing streaks Friday night as they snuck past the NEW Lutheran Blazers 34-33 in Packerland Girls Basketball action.

The Algoma girls' basketball team ran out of gas in the second half as they lost to Oconto Friday night 45-32.

Sturgeon Bay outlasted Peshtigo 36-29 while Kewaunee beat Mishicot 50-41.
