The girls' basketball season in Door and Kewaunee counties officially ended Saturday with a pair of losses by the Packerland Conference's co-champions.

On 96.7 WBDK, the Sevastopol girls' basketball team could not shake the sticky defense of Wabeno-Laona in the WIAA Tournament for the second year in a row, falling this time in the regional final 60-31.

Over on 104.1 WRLU, a put-back basket with 3.8 seconds left in overtime lifted the #4 Valders Vikings to a 41-40 regional championship upset win over the #1 Kewaunee Storm on Saturday night.
