Baseball action continues on Friday after a busy Thursday for area teams.

Friday's games include Algoma hosting Gibraltar/Washington Island for a doubleheader (4:30 p.m.), Southern Door welcoming Reedsville (4 p.m.), and Luxemburg-Casco traveling to Two Rivers for a matchup at Viet Nam Field (4:30 p.m.)

The Gibraltar Vikings scored in the first inning before the Mishicot Indians took control in a 13-3 victory Thursday afternoon in non-conference baseball action.

The Sevastopol Pioneers baseball team found themselves down early and could not come back in a 9-2 loss to Manitowoc Lutheran on Thursday.

The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team had seven baserunners but could only muster a couple of runs in a 3-2 loss Thursday to Marinette.
