Two first-half goals were enough for the Green Bay Glory to hold off Chicago House 2-1 Friday night in Elmhurst, Ill.
Claire Bradford took advantage of a turnover and fired a shot from outside the box for the Glory's first goal. The Glory's Riley Winrich buried a pass that cross through the box eight minutes later to double the lead. Chicago House would score their only goal with about 10 minutes remaining the match.
It was the Glory's first win of the season and they will be back in action on Sunday when they battle Milwaukee Torrent.
