The area's golf teams are getting their work in early this week with meets.

Reese Bandow helped keep the Luxemburg-Casco golf team within striking distance at its meet at Northbrook Golf Course in Luxemburg on Monday. Bandow shot a team-low 51 for the Spartans, which scored a 216 overall, just behind Oconto Falls (212) and Fox Valley Lutheran (211).

Sturgeon Bay returns to action on Tuesday as they make up their September 3rd meet. Xavier, Winneconne, West De Pere, Shawano Community, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran, Bonduel, and Oconto tee off at Seymour's Crystal Springs Golf Course in Seymour at 3 p.m.
