After two rough road games, the Green Bay Phoenix men hope their Saturday afternoon tilt against Campbell will help snap their current two-game skid.
After its double-digit loss to Evansville to start last weekend, the Phoenix men were outscored 44-18 in the final 12 minutes to fall to Ohio State 102-69 on Monday. Anthony Roy once again made life difficult for opposing defenders, knocking down contested shots from all over the court as he hit eight three-pointers en route to a 30-point performance. The rest of the team was held in check, and no other player reached double figures. Mac Wrecke scored eight points, Foster Wonders chipped in seven, and Ben Tweedy added six in the loss.
The Fighting Camels are 3-4 on the season, including its own losses to Ohio State and Evansville in recent days. In their 66-53 loss to the Purple Aces, Jasin Sinani scored 22 points and Colby Duggan added 11 points while two others chipped in eight points.
The two teams meet at noon at the Resch Center.
