Friday proved to be a busy night for area high school basketball fans, but some games are still slated for Saturday ahead of the Christmas break next week.

As heard on U102.1, a first-half to-forget doomed the Sturgeon Bay Clippers, and the Southern Door Eagles earned a 66-38 victory Friday night in Sturgeon Bay.

On Friday in Packerland Conference Girls Basketball,  The Algoma Wolves defeated the Sturgeon Bay Clippers 62-40.

At Kewaunee, the Storm blew by the Sevastopol Pioneers 53-35.  

In NEC action, the Luxemburg-Casco Lady Spartans edged the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes 49-47.

Just two matinees are on the schedule for Saturday. Kewaunee will make up its Thursday game at Oconto at 1 p.m., while Sevastopol will host a regularly scheduled game against Wabeno/Laona at 2 p.m.
