Two Packerland Conference boys basketball showdowns featuring local teams highlight Friday's games featured on the NEW Radio Sports Network.

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers (2-2, 4-6) travel to face the Algoma Wolves (3-1, 5-3) Friday night on U-102.1. Jacob Nate will have the game starting with a 6:45pm pregame, followed by the 7:00pm tipoff.

The Gibraltar Vikings boys basketball team will hit the road Friday night as they take on the conference-leading Southern Door Eagles in Brussels. Tim Kowols will have the call from Brussels on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the tip-off at 7 p.m.

Friday's other Packerland Conference tilt of note will see Sevastopol welcoming Kewaunee for a 7:15 p.m. tilt.

In Thursday's action, the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans could not match Wrightstown's defensive intensity and hot shooting on Thursday night, falling to the Tigers 71-51 on 104.1 WRLU.
