Boys wrestling compete at sectionals Saturday for chance at state

After the girls take their turn on Friday, the area's boy wrestlers will try to stake their claim to spots at next weekend's state tournament in Madison, with strong performances at Saturday's sectional meets.

 

Luxemburg-Casco's Cayden Zehren (113), Carson Blohowiak (120), Carson Neubert (126), Joseph Jeanquart (132), Logan Salm (138), Blakelee Bastien (144), Mason Boulanger (150), Ethan Werner (157), Logan Ellwanger (165), Calvin Henderson (175), Caleb Salentine (190), Aaron Delebreau (215), and Calvin Bohm (285) all qualified for individual sectionals with top-4 finishes. The Spartans will be at the Fond du Lac Sectional.

 

Kewaunee's Mitchell Boeder (285 pounds),Trevor Gauthier (150 pounds), and Sam Kraynik (106 pounds) and Southern Door's Lance Veeser (165 pounds), Clark LeFevre (120 pounds), Ethan Alexander (138 pounds) will head to Valders for their sectional tournament.

 

Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol's Spencer Madsen (157 pounds), Zak Wrobel  (175 pounds), Ethan Denamur (190 pounds), and Harry Schartner (215 pounds) visit Seymour for their sectional tournament.
