Packers add five on final day of NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers added depth pieces on both sides of the ball on Saturday, completing the 2025 NFL Draft with eight new players and more than 600,000 visiting Lambeau Field over the weekend.

The Packers addressed the defense for the first time with their first pick on Saturday, selecting Texas defensive lineman Barryn Sorrell in the fourth round at No. 124 overall. According to Packers.com, he started at defensive end the last three seasons for the Longhorns, totaling 15½ sacks and 29 QB hits over 43 games. He was one of the final players to walk out of the tunnel in front of the draft theater in the Lambeau Field parking lot after arriving at the draft on Wednesday.

The Packers stuck with the defensive line with its second pick of the day, selecting Oklahoma State's Collins Oliver in the fifth round at No. 159 overall. A former All-Big 12 selection, he is coming off a foot injury that kept to him to just two games last season.

The Packers stayed with the defensive line, but went inside with the with the selection of Georgia's Warren Brinson in the sixth round at No. 198 overall. He played on Georgia's last national championship team as a part-time starter.

The Packers switched to a different defensive position with its Tulane cornerback Micah Robinson with the first of two seventh-round picks at No. 237 overall. After a decorated career at Furman, Robinson recorded 33 tackles and intercepted two passes, returning one for a TD in his lone season with the Green Wave.

Finally, the Packers went back to the offensive line with their final pick of the weekend, taking Cincinnati lineman John Williams with their eighth and final pick at No. 250 overall. He allowed just three sacks in more than 800 offensive snaps for the Bearcats as one of its starters over the past two years.
