
Even after the bye week, the San Francisco 49ers are more banged up than the Green Bay Packers. With 10 players appearing on Green Bay's injury report they have three less than the host 49ers this week.
The big news from practice yesterday is that Jordy Nelson did not practice again because of an ankle injury sustained late in the NFC Wild Card game against Minnesota. Randall Cobb also appeared on yesterday's injury report and did not practice due to illness. James Jones struggled with a flu bug last week and it appears to be moving through the receiving corps.
