Southern Door held their annual wrestling alumni night Thursday and the Eagles varsity team put on a great show. Winners of six out of the eight contested matches, the Eagles and Oconto Blue Devils were tied at 36 with just one match remaining.
Jacob Englebert stepped on to the mat at 145, and picked up a pin to seal a 42-36 win to move the Eagles to (1-0) in the Packerland Conference. Even after giving up 24 points by forfeit, Southern Door was able to pull out an impressive victory.
