The Milwaukee Brewers lost another Spring Training game yesterday but the return of pitcher Chris Narveson was the real story Wednesday. The Kansas City Royals defeated the Brewers 3-2 to remain undefeated on the exhibition season.
Chris Narveson threw 30 pitches in his first start since tearing his rotator cuff last April. Of the 30 pitches tossed Wednesday, 19 were strikes.
Lorenzo Cain, batting for the first time after a hand injury, drew a walk off Santo Manzanillo in the Royals' seventh inning and scored on Max Ramirez's single to end a 2-2 tie.
Milwaukee hosts the White Sox at 2:05 p.m. today at Maryvale Baseball Park.
