Brewers Shut Out Braves Again

The Brewers shut out the Atlanta Braves 2-0 for the second day in a row at Miller Park Saturday.

In his first career Major League start, Donovan Hand started off at the mound and pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings before the bullpen took over and Francisco Rodriguez earned his 300th career save.

Milwaukee’s first run came in the fourth inning with an RBI single from Juan Francisco. Consecutive singles from Aramis Ramirez, Jonathan Lucroy, and Francisco sent Ramirez home.

Ramirez added an RBI single in the fifth inning. Overall Milwaukee was 2-for-14 with runners in scoring position and left 11 runners stranded.

Milwaukee looks to sweep Atlanta today at 1:10.
