Timothy Stegmann

Timothy John Stegmann, 62, of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, passed away on April 14, 2026.

Tim was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on December 26th, 1963, to John and Maxine (Lardinois) Stegmann. He spent his life rooted in the values of family, friends and hard work. He will be remembered as a devoted father, proud grandfather, brother, and a loyal friend to many.

He is survived by his three children: Justin (Joanna) Stegmann, Bradly (Tara) Stegmann, and Nicole (Hunter) Derenne. Tim was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren—Jack, Joella, Teagan, Rilyn, and Skylar—who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his siblings: Kim (Randi) Sibilsky, Jay Stegmann, and Kay Stegmann. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maxine (Lardinois) Stegmann.

Tim had a deep passion for the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing whenever he had the chance. He also had a lifelong love of sports and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. He enjoyed playing cards and games with family.

Above all, Tim cherished time spent with his family, creating lasting memories with those he loved most. As a passion of his, Tim was honored as a Dartball Hall of Fame inductee, a testament to both his skill and camaraderie in the sport.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

A luncheon will follow the funeral at Door County Fire Company (38 S. 3rd Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235).

Timothy John Stegmann will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, humor, and the love he shared with family and friends.
