Door County Baseball League in Full Swing for Week 2

Week 2 of the 2026 Door County Baseball League season continues Sunday with a full slate of 1:30 p.m. matchups across the peninsula as teams attempt to shake off the off-season rust and settle into early season play.

The spotlight matchup of the week comes from West Jacksonport, where the Ports (1-0) host Baileys Harbor (0-1). The teams split their head-to-head matchups last season, and the Ports have the all-time lead by a wide margin. The game will be broadcast live on 105.1 The GOAT, with Adam Collins calling the action, bringing fans across Door County live coverage from the "quiet side" of Door County. Pre-game begins at 1:15 with first pitch scheduled for 1:30. You can also stream the game live here or download the DCDN free mobile app.

Weather for Sunday across Door County is expected to be seasonable for mid-May, with highs in the upper 50s and the chance of scattered light showers developing later in the day.

West Jacksonport will look to defend its home field against a Baileys Harbor squad aiming to bounce back early in the season, while Sister Bay and Egg Harbor square off in another key matchup between perennial contenders. Maplewood and Institute also meet in a game that could provide an early gauge of each club’s depth, while Washington Island travels to Kolberg to round out the Week 2 slate.
