A 40-year-old Kaukauna woman suffered a possible injury in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Sevastopol on Monday.
The crash occurred shortly after 1:15 p.m. at the northern junction of state highways 42 and 57 as the woman was preparing to turn. As a line of vehicles slowly moved through the intersection, her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Appleton man.
According to the accident report, the man dropped a water bottle and attempted to pick it up from the floor of his vehicle while it was moving before rear-ending the woman's vehicle.
Both vehicles were traveling at less than 5 mph, but the impact caused the woman to suffer a bruise to her lower left shin when her leg struck part of the dashboard. Both drivers declined additional medical treatment, and neither vehicle had to be towed.
