A scary situation could have been much worse for an 18-year-old Sturgeon Bay woman after she rolled her vehicle Wednesday morning in the town of Gardner. The crash occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Stevenson Pier Road near County Highway K.
According to the crash report, she was traveling north on Stevenson Pier Road when some items began to roll off the passenger seat. As she tried to stop more of the items from falling, she crossed the centerline and entered the southbound lane.
Her vehicle rolled over before landing on its tires, with two of them in the southbound lane. No citations were issued and no injuries were reported, but the vehicle had to be towed from the scene because of disabling damage.
