The story of two stage actors chasing Hollywood stardom one last time will take the stage the next time you visit Peninsula Players Theatre in Fish Creek.

Starring Aja Alcazar, Joe Casey, James David Larson and Garrett Lutz, among others, Ken Ludwig’s Moon Over Buffalo is set in 1950s New York, where George and Charlotte Hay learn that director Frank Capra will be in the audience for a matinee. They must weather several twists and turns involving their performance and marriage before taking the stage for what could be their final chance to make it big.

Peninsula Players Marketing Director Peter Kelly says the comedy is a love letter to theater and strikes a chord with the actors involved in the show.

The penultimate show of the Peninsula Players Theatre season runs Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m., except for a 2 p.m. performance Sunday, Sept. 6. You can hear our full interview with Peter Kelly here.
