Daily caregiving for a loved one can feel isolating, but help is available. The ADRC of Door County is offering a self-care and information day for caregivers on Thursday, November 12, 8am-2pm, at the Community Center at 914 N. 14th Ave., Sturgeon Bay.
The day will include breakfast and lunch, which means pre-registration is required, and is limited to 130 people.
ADRC Assistant Director Nicole Scharrig talked about what the day will include. She emphasized that this day is intended as “Self care for the caregiver, and is meant for caregivers only.”
