The Door County Board has several items on its agenda for Tuesday's meeting, including confirming a new department director, accepting grant funding and discussing the county's public safety radio system.
Supervisors are expected to confirm Melissa Annoye as the county's new Health and Human Services director. Annoye previously served as the Human Services director in Kewaunee County following a 20-year career in public health. She replaces Joe Krebsbach, who has held the position since 2012 after previously serving as Community Programs director and helping lead the county through multiple department mergers.
The board will also consider appointing Murray "Flip" Crummer and Pat Schutz to the Nutrition Advisory Council.
Supervisors will consider accepting a pair of grants totaling approximately $75,000 for the county's Land Information Office and another $125,000 for the Door County Deflection Program through the Sheriff's Office.
The board is also scheduled to enter closed session to discuss the potential purchase of real estate and the construction or leasing of radio tower sites as the county works to upgrade its public safety radio system.
The meeting will also include recognition of Door County Manufacturing Month and Crash Responder Safety Week.
Tuesday's meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the County Board Room at the Door County Government Center in Sturgeon Bay.
