Laurabell Erdmann, 82, Algoma, passed away September 26, 2026, at the Door County Medical Center. She was born June 19, 1944, in Algoma to the late Richard and Laura (Neinas) Erdmann. Laurabell began her career in 1962, working as a secretary for St. Paul's Lutheran School and Algoma High School. She retired in 2006. Laurabell was part of the Sweatermakers Club and enjoyed reading, crocheting and knitting. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma. Laurabell is survived by her cousins, John (Joanne) Neinas, Linda (Dennis) Viste, Becky Neinas, Joe Novotny, Mary Ann (Richard) Melotte, loved by the Erdmann relation cousins, special friends Marie Marin, Audrey Tebon and Carol Nimmer, and other beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Neinas and Sue Novotny. Laurabell always remembered the fond memories she had from all the years she was at the Algoma High School, including all the teachers and students. This was her life for 49 years. There will be a visitation for Laurabell on Monday October 5, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Algoma, from 8:30 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Moll and Rev.
