Y-Wednesday: Lifeguard shortage impacting pool hours

Depending on when you choose to get your laps in at the Door County YMCA in Sturgeon Bay or Fish Creek, you are well aware of the ongoing nationwide lifeguard shortage. While it is not a new issue, pools and other aquatic facilities are feeling the impact of not having enough lifeguards, especially as college and high school students head back to class in the coming weeks.
