Y-Wednesday: Are You Ready for Some Football?

The next generation of Green Bay Packers players — or at least players from Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, Southern Door and Gibraltar — will take to the field later this month as the Door County YMCA kicks off its flag football season. In the latest Y-Wednesday Podcast, Youth Development Executive Paul Briney shared details about the upcoming flag football season. The action starts Aug. 31, when the YMCA hosts hourlong practices on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning at 3:45 p.m. Games begin Sept. 12 at Sturgeon Bay High School, with divisions separated by grade.
