Only two of Door County's four snowmobile zones remain open as of Thursday morning, but warm temperatures may end the season potentially by the end of the week.

The north and central snowmobiling zones are open, but the Door County Parks Department web site says the trails in those areas are poor with the possibility of open water. Door County's southeast and southwest zones, as well as all of Kewaunee County's trails, closed for the season on Wednesday at 6 a.m.
