Green Bay women demolish Chicago State in impromptu matinee

The Green Bay Phoenix had their biggest season scoring output on Wednesday afternoon, beating Chicago State 92-42.

The game was moved up from a 7 p.m. start to a 3 p.m. tip. The change did not affect the Phoenix, as they shot nearly 59 percent from the field and limited the Cougars to under 30 percent. The Cougars did not crack double digits in either of the first two quarters of the game, placing them at a distinct 30-point disadvantage at the break.

The Phoenix had five players score in double figures, with Maddy Schreiber and Natalie McNeal each scoring 16 points. Jenna Guyer chipped in with 14 points while Callie Genke added 12 points, and Tatum Koenig tallied 11 points.

The Phoenix won't play again until December 29th when they host Oakland.
