Brewers Ace Struggles In Spring Training Debut

Yovani Gallardo threw 47 pitches over 2 2/3 innings in his Cactus League debut Tuesday giving up five hits including a double and two home runs. Gallardo was hung with three earned runs while also striking out a pair in a very short outing. Milwaukee lost the exhibition game 6-5 to the Seattle Mariners.

Gallardo next pitches Sunday which means he will not be able to start for his home country Mexico in the World Baseball Classic on March 7.
