More vendors, new space for Sturgeon Bay Farmer

The county’s largest farmer’s market is ready to kick off its season beginning on June 1st. Destination Sturgeon Bay is ready to host the Sturgeon Bay Farmer’s Market for its third season since taking over the duties from the city in 2022. The market will expand towards Nebraska Street and 2nd Avenue this year after being forced to change the layout from heading closer to 4th and 5th Avenues. The market will also see approximately 80 vendors in 2024, up from the 70 they had in 2022. Destination Sturgeon Bay Events Director Andrea Buboltz says it will be great to welcome vendors and visitors back to the city’s streets for another summer.

While there is plenty of room for visitors to shop for their favorite items, Buboltz says they have a waiting list for vendors who want to set up at the market on an annual or semi-regular basis. The Sturgeon Bay Farmer’s Market runs from June 1st to October 12th from 8 a.m. to noon.
