The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for nearly 20 Wisconsin counties, including Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc counties, from 9 a.m. Thursday until 9 p.m. Thursday. West winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are expected, with east-central Wisconsin potentially receiving higher speeds. The NWS warns that the high winds combined with the light snow that is expected to fall could cause blowing and drifting snow, potentially creating poor driving conditions.
