A 39-year-old Elm Grove woman suffered a possible injury when she hit her head on a window during a rear-end collision in the Village of Egg Harbor last Friday. The crash occurred at the intersection of State Highway 42 and Orchard Road shortly before 3:45 p.m. According to the accident report, the woman was in a car with a 53-year-old Elm Grove man who was stopped at the intersection waiting for pedestrians to cross the street before making a right turn. As they waited, a car driven by a 32-year-old Pleasant Prairie man rear-ended their vehicle. The Pleasant Prairie man admitted he was not paying attention and did not notice the car in front of him had stopped. There were no other injuries in the crash. The Pleasant Prairie man’s vehicle also carried a 32-year-old Pleasant Prairie woman and the couple’s three children. The man was cited for inattentive driving. Neither car had to be towed, and the Elm Grove woman’s injuries did not require hospitalization.
