Free Bee Documentary Screening Coming to Crossroads at Big Creek

If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate bees, honey and all things Winnie-the-Pooh, you’ll want to make your way to Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay.

As part of Winnie-Pooh-Looza, Crossroads will host a free public screening of the two-part documentary series “Secrets of the Bees” at the Collins Learning Center Monday, October 5 at 1:30.

Crossroads at Big Creek Executive Director Sam Koyen says the film is a natural fit for the celebration.

“This is such an awesome documentary about bees. This is so fitting for Winnie-Pooh-Looza.”

Filmed over three years, the documentary explores the intricate life inside a single hive while also examining the broader role of more than 20,000 bee species around the world.

The screening runs approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes and is free and open to the public.

The event is part of Winnie-Pooh-Looza, a celebration built around the beloved bear, his friends and the natural world that inspired many of their adventures.
