Born June 21, 1940, Don has been a resident of the Town of Egg Harbor for over 25 years, formerly of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and Wheaton, Illinois. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Susan; his loving daughter, Elizabeth and her partner, Michael Demuth; daughter-in-law, Jackie, of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; and sister-in-law, Bonnie of Wheaton, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew; by his parents, Harvey and Grace; and brother, Jim of Wheaton, Illinois. Don graduated from Wheaton Community High School in 1958 where he was active in school activities and sports, being named to the All-DuPage County Basketball Team his senior year. In addition, he was the Prom King and commencement speaker. He graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in 1963 with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with minors in economics and political science, and where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He served in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1965 to 1969, being honorably discharged as a Sergeant in the 132nd Signal Battalion.

He enjoyed participating and observing sporting events, household building and repair projects, traveling, and most of all spending quality time with his family, whom he loved very much!
