Elizabeth Eve Slifka,  55, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2023 after an extended battle with liver disease.  She was preceded in death by her mother Nancy and father Frank.  Beth is survived by her partner Vince Hood, mother-in-law Martha Slifka, brothers Franky Slifka, Dave (Dee) Kanner, sister Julie Bringle, and son Vince (Kiana) Falco.  Also survived by nieces Krista (Bret), Lauren, Morgan, Katie, nephew Anthony (Lorilee) and great nieces and nephews.

Beth was born December 5, 1968 in Berwyn, IL and spent her youth in the local area.  After obtaining her GED, she dabbled in various jobs throughout the years, but never really found her passion. In later years, Beth lived a quiet life with her significant other, Vince H. between Door County and Green Bay.

Beth loved listening to loud music and enjoyed making it when she spent time playing the piano.  She loved watching Jeopardy and trying to test her skills against the contestants.  Beth kept sharp by enjoying crossword puzzles and Sudoku.  Like her mother, Beth loved pets and her home was never without an extra set of paws!

Beth was a person with big emotions and big opinions.  She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind or fight for what she believed in, and when she made up her mind on something; that is how it was going to be.  Keeping with her wishes, she stayed at home during the final months of her illness.  A special thanks goes out to Unity Hospice and especially Vince H, and his undying commitment to give Beth the best care and love she needed.  Beth was loved wholeheartedly, and will be missed dearly.

A celebration of life will be held the 12th of January, at the Legacy at Northland.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with care and final expenses.
